To get this ActiveLink going, I've decided to step up my walking and get myself out there. Four months ago I could barely make it around the building and today . . . I'm cruising half way around the Capitol! Weight Watchers (WW) is working for me BIG time :)
I joined a facebook group that is for local WW folks - the gal at my work set it up (and she also helped motivate me to start WW to begin with) - thanks Carley!. To contribute to the board, I decided to document our walks with a few pictures. The weather in sunny Cali is pretty darn awesome right now so there are no excuses not to get outside and move!
Another yummy dinner . . . THREE thumbs up (I'm sure it would have been four if Jason was home). I steamed carrots and baby red potatoes again. We also had garlic texas toast. The toast is 4 WWPs but oh so good!
I am loving fruit big time . . . I think I've eaten more pineapple this year than any other time - probably because I'm a pro at picking one out at the store! The secret is to grab a stem in the center of the pineapple and if it pops out right away it's fresh. If you can hold on to the center stem and pick it up, it's not ripe yet.
Today I decided to make fruit salsa using pineapple, strawberries, blackberries, green apple and a nectarine. It was a good combination of sweet, tart and crunch. I recently started Weight Watchers (WW) so I'm trying to branch out and come up with healthy snacks to eat in between meals.

All stirred up and ready to eat! I also added a few cinnamon pita chips to scoop up the goodness with. A delicious snack for only 4pts. Delicious!!
