She's back . . .

Well I really have NO idea who she is in real life but in keeping up with Laura's blog, I found out today that Megan Cristello is back to blogging! I used to check her site all the time because her photos are just so eye catching and gorgeous. Well a few months back I just gave up checking . . . her blog went cold  . . . and I got tiered of getting my hopes up that there would be something new listed. And then WALLAH . . . she's back!!! Check out THIS post! I would love to carve out some time to do that with Hannah . . . the hunt is on for those glasses!

Paper Ball . . .

I was browsing the web and landed on this blog by Heather Bailey. If you scroll down, there is a section on the right called Free Patterns and I tried my hand at the Paper Globes. She made hers into topiary displays which are pretty cool. For now I think I'm just going to hang mine somewhere. All the instructions are listed on her site. This is how mine came together.

Valentine's Day Banner . . .

I had been wanting to make a banner for awhile now. I've been seeing them everywhere - most recently on Julie's blog. Since I still have a friend's cricut, I borrowed Julie's Mini Monograms set and made one for Valentine's Day. It's hanging on our mantel now :)  The cartridge cuts out the whole thing for you, I just added glitter, the purple "flags" and ribbon. I also got so inspired with this set, that I started one for Easter too!

Another challenge . . . from awhile ago!

As I said, I love when Laura posts a challenge. I was set to do this one a few weeks ago and then I ended up sick. So today while I was in the mood, I had to sneak this one is as well. It's with SEI paper, just not the poppy pack, some old stuff I found but I used to love this company so I actually had it seperated. I found a large stash of those cool prong brads from Scrapworks too - fun stuff!

This is my neice Megan. Remember when everything was fasinating at 2?!? Today it was an airplane :)
