This month the guidelines were turquoise, tearing, and a 4 layer minimum.  Turns out they are all so different this time around - cool!

Another one of mine that was not part of the swap, it's just a card I put together for Father's Day so I thought I'd share that too :)

 

Card swap . . .

A couple of my stampin' friends and I decided to do our own card swap. With our busy schedules, it's not always possible to get together as much as we would like so we are trying this out. Every other month and with a couple of criteria thrown in, we decided to go for it.

In April, 3 of us participated. The criteria was light green, bling, and 2 layers (which I now realize what a layer actually is and Judy and I didn't stick to that - oops).  We'll get it down for next time.

Stampin' Up! . . .

Stampin' Up! has a new catalog out!! It has all NEW colors of fun too!!  I went to an open house to see a few of the new things and take home some "old" stuff for free! If you stayed and made 3 cards (for free), you took home a stamp set (for free). Each gal also won a door prize - I picked out the yellow pack you see - came with a full package of card stock, stamp pad, re-inker and pen! Tons of other things were on sale too - I picked up a few sheets of the teal card stock, matching stamp pad and two markers for $4.50! It was like xmas in July - lol! (if you click on pic, you can see it up close).

P&J ~ I told Kate we were planning a class so our catalogs were free! Don't ya just love that four letter word!!

 

Birthday card . . .

I had fun making this one for a co-worker ~ I made the cricut do all the work using the Accent Essentials cartridge.

 

Easter cards and tags . . .

Here's a couple of fun Easter cards and tags I made.

I used Crystal Effects to make the bunny shine. I also used my new Tag punch from Stampin' Up - love it!

I had fun using the glitter paper on this one and of course the Tag punch again!

And since I was having fun with the glitter paper, I made some cute tags too.
