We had a nice Thanksgiving this year . . . actually it's nice every year - our little family getting together to visit, eat, play rummikub, and look at all the newspaper ads. I took the girls outside to snap a few pics. It's getting harder to get Jordan's picture - I'm not really liking 13 (but that's another story) and of course I can get Logan's pic - he has no choice - he can't run from me yet - lol!
Now here is a cool social networking story and proof that there are nice people out there. The person who found it just wanted to return the SD card to the owner. It may say something about Canon too - an SD card that survived a year under sea water - wow!

When Logan decided he was coming, he was coming. SIL in labor for only an hour! The doc didn't even have time to make - good thing for nurses :)
I've already taken to calling him peanut . . . just under 7 pounds and 19 1/2 inches. Here he is at 26 hours old.
He's so tiny. I just don't remember my kids being so little :) Time does fly . . .
The Maidu Interpretive Center in Roseville, CA was our latest school field trip. I was so glad to be able to go to this one - it was really fun. Hannah's been learning about the Native Americans and their culture at school and now they get to see some of the history in person. We went on a nature hike with a volunteer, had lunch outside, and then went inside for information and a hands on session with a docent. The the kids also got to play a game that was indicative of the time period. It was nice to see all the kids so engaged in the learning fun!
Even though Hannah is still wearing her sling, we let her play a few minutes each game at Boofest. It was something she had been looking forward to for months. It was a lot of fun to see the girls dressed up and we had a parent make our scarecrow display - very cool!!

Even though the girls won 3 games and tied 1 game (no losses), they placed 3rd. Glad to see they were still very happy about it!
